Join the American Legion and make a difference in your community!
We have been supporting the local community here in Fairborn/Greene County for almost a century and need your help to continue our mission of support of the military, our veterans,
and their families!

Our motorcycle club (The Legion Riders) travel the state/nation providing support and bringing together riders that enjoy
the open road and the comradery of fellow wartime veterans.
We support the Dayton VA Hospital by providing in person support for a wide variety of programs! We also have partnerships with Operation Comfort Warriors and Habitat for Humanity!

No matter what level of experience or time available we have unique opportunities to make a difference in the lives of fellow warriors and their families!
In addition to organizing commemorative events volunteer veterans, operating through The American Legion, support activities and provide assistance at Veterans Administration hospitals and clinics.

The American Legion is active in issue-oriented U.S. politics. Its primary political activity is lobbying on behalf of interests of veterans and service members, including support for veterans benefits such as pensions and the Veterans Health Administration.

One of our more solemn duties is providing Final Honors of a “21 Gun Salute” to our fellow veterans who have passed on, there is no
greater honor than saluting the service of those who have gone before us, their dedication and
sacrifice will never be forgotten.
